Here is your favourite sour and annoyed Formula One boomer with his own opinion. While all the Formula One teams, besides Scuderia Ferrari, shown their “new” cars the FIA came with the solution for Monaco. Many, well most of the Drive to survive generation, believe that the Monaco Grand Prix has nothing to seek on the current calendar. The issue is the lack of overtaking during the races that makes it boring. Keep in mind, that most of the Drive to survive generation has an attention span of 5 minutes. I’m probably too positive with the 5 minutes span. However, I have the solution for Monaco and all the races let monkeys drive the cars!
Yes im dead serious, why don’t we replace all the drivers with monkeys. It isn’t that hard to teach monkeys stuff we do as well. Imagine how interesting the races will be, and cost efficient! For example, the teams will be able to save a lot of money. No need to pay all those millions for spoiled twats who start crying ASAP you say something that does not fit in their comfort zone. It will cost the team only bananas in that case.
Seriously, what is the FIA thinking? First of all they are ruled by Ben Sulayem who like Horny Horner failed on some occasions. Forgetting this fact, it goes the complete wrong way with the sport. Yes, there are two groups who are fucking it up the FIA and the Formula One itself (see Liberty Media). The issue this time is the Monaco Grand Prix. The race is boring, there race has no value it is pure an elite thingy. What many forget, it is Antony Noghes with a cancer stick in his mouth decided to organise the first Monaco Grand Prix in 1929! That ladies and gentleman is 96 years ago. That ladies and gentlemen means history.
Yes, the decades that pasted have always had the same complains from fans that the race is boring. That the race should not be on the calendar. Well, I believe that the Grand Prix of Monaco, especially anno 2025, is one of the few highlights of the Sport that get’s demonetized from within. The race shows the beauty and the glamour something the rest of the races lack.
Well, to make the race more interesting this year the FIA announced that there will be “planned” pit stops. Or whatever they call it. The idea behind it is that the teams have to use a multiple pit stop strategy during the Grand Prix. Basically it is an artificial thing to make the race more attractive. Don’t as me, I don’t see the extra in it. Usually the Monaco Grand Prix is a one-pit stop strategy. This would me that it could be now a two or even three stops. Not my cup of tea I can assure you. The current generation Formula One cars are too big for Monaco and for many other Grand Prix tracks. Probably I’m wrong in that conclusion anyway.
Therefore, in my believe, the best option to make the Monaco Grand Prix more exciting (as well the complete season) replace the drivers with monkeys!
